Lori Compas, the organizer of and the Democratic candidate in a recall election against Wisconsin State Senate Republican Leader Scott Fitzgerald, challenged Fitzgerald to five debates. Well, Fitzgerald has accepted to debate Compas once, on Wednesday, May 23, at 7 P.M. Central Time. The debate will be held at the Jefferson High School Auditorium in Jefferson and aired on Fort Atkinson-based WFAW-AM radio, whose website will livestream the debate over the internet.
If WFAW's livestream is operational during the debate, I will do a liveblog here on DKos of the Fitzgerald-Compas debate. I don't live in Wisconsin, and, therefore, am nowhere near in reach of WFAW's signal, so a liveblog by me of the Fitzgerald-Compas debate will be dependent on me being able to listen to WFAW's online feed during the time in which the debate is taking place.
