Everyday since Romney addressed the Latino coalitition, I have googled Romney and Hispanics. I wrote about the results on google here in this diary, right after the speech.
Breaking! Romney thinks Hispanics are stupid.

It is easy anyone can do it! But the list that comes up is still very spare on news buzz about Romney stepping up, "stirring", "appealing to" "looks to make inroads". These are still future tense statements "am going to" type statments in the press.

"My only question is how well and how quickly are we getting the Hispanic effort going," said an informal Romney adviser, who spoke on condition of anonymity. "The campaign needs to get on the air (with ads) and send him into some Hispanic events. There's a lot of stuff that needs to get going."
Nothing but the sound of crickets......

more over......
I don't have that much to say further on this matter. Hispanic Americans are not one issue voters. And of course people who are voting for president are citizens so they would not really be subject to deportaion. (generally speaking, because it has happened in the past)
But there seems to be a total disconnect on the amount of effort required by the Romnay campaign to reach Hispanic Americans.
I don't understand it, I thought he would at least get some well know Hispanic Republicans making some news buzz over his speech to Hispanic businessmen.
But so far.........
