Swung by the news this morning and was shocked at the amount of religiosly inspired nonsense, so I thought I'd share some of it.
To start ...
Kansas pastor calls on U.S. government to kill LGBT people
“They should be put to death,” Knapp declared. “‘Oh, so you’re saying we should go out and start killing them, no?’ — I’m saying the government should. They won’t, but they should.”
So why is it you never hear homosexuals or atheists calling for the extermination of Christians, or at least Evangelicals? Who is the neanderthal here?
NOM spokesperson: LGBTs will make us all sex-worshipping, pagan ‘hedonists’
Finally, some sanity. It's nice to hear them say something so positive about the LGBT community. Hopefully their prediction comes true before I'm too old to participate. Wait, they meant that's supposed to be a bad thing? That's odd. It's sort of like calling Obama a metrosexual black Abe Lincoln as a pejorative. I don't get it, but I guess it makes sense to somebody.
“Let me just say that first of all,” Land said, cutting the caller off, “that the Devil takes pleasure in anything that causes destruction in human society and the homosexual lifestyle does cause destruction. It’s seen as one of the evidences in the decline of every empire we have seen; studies have shown it became rampant in the Persian Empire, the Greek Empire, the Roman Empire, the British Empire.”
Land and Morse claimed to be ranged against a “secular theocracy” that seeks to instill “full-blown pagan” values in our society.
First of all, Rome and Greece embraced homosexuality for centuries without any problems. Rome rose to become the most powerful and stable Empire in the world with homosexuality as an accepted norm. Rome fell after it converted to Christianity.
Second, it's really offensive for Christians to attack Pagans. The Christians massacred my Pagan forefathers, so it's quite equivalent to a neonazi attacking Jews. Pagans were burned at the stake for centuries by scumbags like this.

Ten Commandments’ Judge Roy Moore: Secularism leads to Sharia law
Yes, because nothing is more secular than dogmatic religious law. Are these people retarded?
“What they fear most is my acknowledgment of the sovereignty of God,” he continued, adding that the federal judge had “violated not only our Constitution but the case law of the United States Supreme Court which says our religious freedom comes from God, and if it doesn’t come from God people have to realize we will lose it and that is happening in our country today with Sharia law and the allowance of religious practices for other groups but not Christians.”
And Christians are not allowed to practice their religion ... apparently.
In recent months, Moore and his Foundation for Moral Law have been fighting to allow the small town Sylvania to use a Bible verse on their welcome signs.
I have a suggested Bible verse ...
Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)
