The full story is here, but for those who don't want to read the whole long thing:

Hudiberg Toyota is holding a contest on Facebook to award $10,000.00 to a local school.
Why vote?
OSSM just graduated it's 21st class. It is the only college preparatory boarding school that is also a public high school in the state of Oklahoma, and it provides an education not just for the residential gifted juniors and seniors to be able to get into the college of their choice, it provides extra AP level classes in 19 regional centers so students who can't live on the main OSSM campus can still benefit.
And OSSM does all this with 22 professors who have not only not received pay raises in a decade, but have to take unpaid furlough days and travel to those regional centers to teach in addition to the main campus classes they teach. And, as if this weren't enough, they also teach summer workshops to help other teachers keep their ongoing education accreditation, offer summer math and science camps to middle school students, and the main campus also hosts community meetings and seminars for other educational programs like A+ Schools.
In a society that claims to value Science and Math education, OSSM is getting the short stick, with budget cuts and furloughs and reduced non-monetary compensations. Voting for OSSM won't make up the 35% budget cuts they've taken so far, but it can certainly be put to good use to benefit the students.
