I am not a poll-watcher, not by DKos standards. But I've been even less attentive to the recall polls. My take was they were all useless until the Democrats had chosen a final candidate. There have been fewer polls than I expected since that has happened. But as we all know the polls we've seen have leaned towards Walker. Bottom line? I assume Walker has a slight popularity lead. That's what Nate Silver said about it a few days ago.
So OK, the polls are a bit underwhelming. But they've been scarce, right? That helps us ignore them and GOTV. GOTV is all it is about folks. If you need a scientific reason to ignore them damn polls GOTV is there for you again.
Remember this: no pollster has monitored a WI Governor get recalled before. And it's happening during a massive switch in telecommunication. Ladies and gentlemen I can look you in the eye and with the firmest of trust-inducing handshakes tell you the stats boys honestly are not sure they are modelling this election correctly. We are all flying blind here in 2012.
So lookie. Did the pollsters get the ratio of cell phones to college students correct? You and I do not have to care. The more you and I GOTV, the more the polls are wrong. Every Got-out-that-vote is one more vote the models do not predict. So forget the polls. Wear out one more pair of shoes and bring this one home for Tom Barrett.

That being said, I'd feel better if some post-debate poll showed movement our way.
