When I arrived this morning, there were already a half-dozen people waiting for the polls to open, which they did shortly after seven. Everyone ahead of me was in Dane County (I'm in Green), so I actually ended up being the third voter.
As with last time, the poll workers knew exactly what they should be doing - ask for me name, ask for my address, get my signature, hand me a ballot - and I was on my way out about a minute after voting opened. The only time I've been asked for my ID is last year, when I registered to vote after moving to Wisconsin.
If you're in WI (or certain other states, for that matter) and haven't voted yet, don't wait! Get out and vote!
