I watch CSPAN as background noise while working, and Rummy was giving a presentation at the Citadel and a student double checked what he was saying in real time and that asshole said "no fair, he has a computer" and everyone laughed. But it got me thinking, I can remember people spouting all kinds of BS about politics growing up, but since the advent of mobile technology they can be checked in real time. My own family is a lot less keen to start ranting now that I can fact check them at the dinner table. Is the age of BS ending? Or will they keep denying the facts and or sources to stay in their own bubble of BS?
