As several of you already know, I am running for California State Senate, under the reasonably attractive name of "Greg Diamond" and the ballot designation "Workers' Rights Attorney." My opponent is the incumbent Republican California State Senate Majority Leader, Crony McRotten (not his real name), who is running as "Rich People's Tool" (not his real ballot designation).
If you live anywhere depicted on the map beneath the fold, get out there and vote for me. Last I checked, it's a low turnout race -- he has 11 votes to my 8 (not my real calculation), so your vote can make the difference.
I make the runoff either way, so I have not been concentrating much on my old campaign yet (nor have I been spending much of the money that y'all wonderful people have been raising for me. But if I get within five points of him, I think that he'll completely freak out, and that alone is worth your trip to the ballot box!
Le Map:
If you missed my recommendations in other nearby races, they are here in this other diary along with a video of me being interviewed by my daughter while due to yellow lighting on pink skin I look more orange than John Boehner could ever achieve. In your dreams, Boehner!!!
And, oh yeah, visit my website, follow my Facebook page, and if you're flush and interested in promoting both Reform Democrats and the Occupy movement -- please feel welcome to donate! (Write me directly for a physical mail address.) I'm also going to have a Twitter poster soon, who will tell me how to tell you to find my Twitter account.
Best of luck to all who deserve it today -- but especially to the Dems in Wisconsin!
(P.S. Also vote for Julio Perez if you're in AD-69. More on that later.)
12:34 PM PT: Update: If you're going to recommend my diary, and thanks if you do, please make sure that one or more (or many more) Wisconsin diaries stay above it, because THIS IS WISCONSIN'S DAY!!!
