Last night I attended a food extravaganza called Off the Grid San Francisco .  There must have been 20-some Food Trucks gathered at Fort Mason Center on San Francisco, serving food from every region of the world, literally! A trek around the festival had my mind boggled on what to order and where to order it. But the smells from the Korean BBQ place won out, and I ended up ordering a chicken creation on a baguette that made love to my taste buds!

It was amazing to me how many young people turned out for the event, Food, Beer, Free Music what was not to love!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

and will often have some of the longest lines of the evening.  It's smart to go to this at the start, get your food before the lines start forming.  After that, you can just hang out and enjoy the music and other people, and if still hungry go for a second round with trucks that have shorter lines.

Some of the trucks are regulars, others rotate in and out.  More people turn out, obviously, when the weather is nice.  (For those who aren't aware, this is a weekly Friday night event.)

There are other Off the Grid events around the Bay, but this one is probably the most popular.  I think it's about 2 years old, now.  It's a nice way to get Friday dinner!  And dessert.
