It looks like the House of Representatives favorite dead beat dad is at it again. Fresh off, one of his many idiotic comments, Walsh offered this brilliant take on the Presidents move on Immigration Reform: Obama Is Dumb And a "Tyrant" for Stopping Deportations
"And again, fair is fair, you want a debate on the law, fine, have that debate. But right now it's a law on the books and you just told your law enforcement people don't enforce it. I was on one radio station and I said my god he's a tyrant. I don't know what else you call him. I don't want to give him that credit because I don't think he's smart enough. I think he's only doing this because he's campaigning, that's all the guy knows. So I don't want to call him a tyrant, because he really isn't smart enough to know what that means. But in one fell swoop he just made 800,000 illegal immigrants, let's call it legal, and gave them the ability to work here legally."
So let me get this straight.. First off you are telling people... well "let's have the debate" when it was the Republicans (that would be Joe Walsh's party) that voted down the
DREAM act and stifled debate on the issue.
But then... there is calling the President a "tyrant" for not enforcing a law which blames those who are not at fault for the acts of their parents. Does Rep. Walsh actually know the meaning of the word "tyrant". I am pretty sure that telling law enforcement NOT to enforce an unfair law falls under the definition of "tyrant".
But after his obvious ignorance of the English language... Walsh decides to double down saying... "So I don't want to call him a tyrant, because he really isn't smart enough to know what that means.."
Ummm, Rep. Walsh... are you sure THAT is the complaint you want to make. There is someone out there that doesn't know what the word "tyrant" means but it doesn't seem to be President Obama. I am thinking that person might be you.
The rest of it is pure asshatery. Giving kids a pathway to legality is not the same thing as waving a magic wand and making them legal. But of course our resident "Super Genius" Rep. Walsh should know this.
All I can say is: "Ladies and Gentlemen... this is YOUR Republican Party".
