I like many others here were rather "surprised" when I heard that Roberts voted with the liberal block to uphold the ACA. Not on the points of law, mind you, but the law has been rather malleable this session to fit the Chamber of Commerce's agenda.
I was also (but much less so) surprised when I heard Jeb's repeated attacks on today's national Republicans as being too extreme for even Ronald Reagan. My tinfoil is firmy locked away, but are both of these part of a concerted efforts by the Sane Right and Bush 41 loyalists to push back against the Crazies?
I know that Jeb has various reasons why it isn't in his best interests for a Romney victory, and Roberts does have his legacy to think about.
