Returning from the July 4th break, feeling as independent as ever, we've survived another broadcast of Daily Kos Radio.
We were joined, as usual, by DemFromCT for the day's polling news, a discussion of the long-term trends, and even a peek under the hood of the controversy surrounding Rasmussen. Armando called in about an hour and a half into the show, and brought us some exciting (relatively speaking) news about our next Great Leaps Forward in the show, including how we'll be addressing a number of the improvements many (relatively speaking) of you have been asking for.
In between and around the margins, the talk was about Romneybot's July 4th parade appearance, where the lemonade is, "Lemon. Wet. Good." We also talked more about Romney's secret overseas stash, which (apropos of the July 4th holiday) turns out to be a British subject! And we wound up with Congressional Jackass News, featuring Reps. Joe Walsh (R-IL), C.W. Bill Young (R-FL) and Thad McCotter (R-MI).
Here's the whole enchilada, with highlights to come.
