Sure, sure -- lots of you think of being the "Tri-State" like California, California and altered mental state; Baltimore, Eastern Shore and Garrett County; Florida, the ocean and Mars; etc.

I'm talking about Connecticut, New York and New York City.  Oh -- and rich people who can drive from the northern New England States and New Jersey.

Phil S 33, who is a lovely, lovely person (after I've had 2 Sauvignon Blancs) has been pushing me to do what he does all the time -- get folks together.

And then there is navajo with her New Day stuff and ohhhhh, we're so SF and together and hey -- I'm beautiful stuff which is stressful for the correct coasters -- and here I am, bludgeoned yet gorgeous, posting a query for those in the center of the universe.

I know lots of Connecticutians (aka Nutmeggers, Swamp Yankees, Swim Suit Models) and New Yorkers (aka . . . . . . . . . . you all know) and Jerseyites!!!!  and other New Englanders.  I think we need to meet the navajo challenge and start getting organized even if it means having some meets at our Greenwich mansions and others in the frigging woods of Maine.

Here's my requests:

1.  Who is interested;

2.  Who needs transport;

3.  Where is a convenient place to meet for all who are interested (no, not Paris);

4.  How can we assist our buddies who need assistance for a meet up; and

5.  Can anyone help me get the eff out of Firefox?

So, my lovelies, what say you?  Phil thinks July 21 or 28 (Saturdays) are good.  Any other suggestions are fine until the first snow.  More than one meet up would be great since the range of geniuses in our area is massive.

I'm the worst for having transportation problems but Phil, as always has a solution for collecting a group of us -- rent a thingy!!!!

Hope some are interested and please, please, please reply even if you are stuck without wheels or cash.  We are pretty inventive, sharing and fun.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
