Real life has gotten extremely complicated for me of late. Mostly things at work, but some other stuff, too. I'm going to need to focus all my energy on these other matters for a few months at the very least, which means no time for writing Dawn Chorus. If others among you would like to organize to continue the series, that would be great. It is such a nice group of people who gather in this space each Sunday morning, and I sure hope that can continue.
A lot of stuff to untangle right now...
I hope to be able to return and get back to this when things settle down, but... who knows when that will be. Were it not for this series, I wouldn't have bothered with a TTFN, because I'll probably stop in at DKos from time to time (especially on Sunday mornings). But I wanted to say something here, first in hopes of keeping things going, and even more important - to just say how much I like getting the chance to talk to all of you each week.
It's a great, lively flock gathering here each week.
Thank you for all your photos and stories and sightings and questions and answers and puns and videos and links. Most of all, thanks for making this a great weekly conversation. It's pretty hard to step away from this, especially as life is getting so stressful, because these Sunday mornings are always a bright spot in the week.
I was hoping that my assistant could fill in during my absence, but he's too easily distracted.
Hope to be back soon.
Update: matching mole will be getting things organized to keep the series going. Please see his comment here if you are interested in writing a diary. Thank you sincerely to everyone who has volunteered. I am so happy that Dawn Chorus can continue... you are really, truly, the best bunch of people imaginable.
