Letter to my congressman and senators:
Holy Moles!Oh yeah....
Under the aegis of House Appropriations Chair Republican Hal Rogers, the U.S. Army purchased $6.5 million worth of “leakproof” drip pans “to catch transmission fluid on Black Hawk helicopters," from a company Phoenix Products, whose owners are contributors to Congressman Harold Rogers' (KY-05) political committee, as well as to other Republican causes, as well as paying in at least $600,000 since 2005 to a Washington lobbying firm, Martin Fisher Thompson & Associates, to represent its interests on federal contracting issues. That boils down to $17,000 per pan, when the same pan is available from other sources for $2,500.
That stinks! Big time!
The wastrel, feckless War Machine, filled with corruption and graft!
$17,000 is more than my yearly income. It is unconscionable that I should pay my meager tax dollars for a God damned $17,000 drip pan that benefits a bastard like Harold Rogers.
And F*** You, Dick Cheney!
