Willlard Romney is imploding due to an incompetent team. We need to stand back and let it happen on its own with a gentle nudge here and there. But we must watch our words, not say anything stupid or cross the line. I am seeing some silly and disrespectful statements by lower level Dem operatives who are a bit too gleeful about Mitt's slide. So please let's watch our words and show some respect. Let's show GOP/Rove and others that we can be tough, strong and classy.
Moreover, a misplaced or over-the-top response (like Sununu's today) can backfire and turn off our supporters or independents. Please keep that in mind.
Let's also remember the goal here. We simply want to defeat Gov. Romney. But he is not evil nor an enemy just an opponent in this campaign. We disagree on policy and direction, but we don't hate him nor his family. Let's keep things in perspective.
Thanks for listening,
Joe

I do agree that we need to fight hard and tough. That's what it takes to win. But I reserve the term "enemy" for people like Hitler or Bin Laden or for conditions like poverty or lack of education. Romney is a person whom I disagree with on key issues. But I most certainly do not hate him. I only want to beat him in the next election, just like how we beat him in 1994 in the Senate race in MA. I was proud of that!
I like how the Obama campaign is executing especially in 2012. Aggressive, ahead of the opposite side and controlling the narrative at every turn. This is brilliant. Go Obama. Go Dems!
But keep things in perspective, please. Politics is a game and campaigning is fully of hyperbole and over-reactions. Then there is real life. We all have friends and neighbors, who are Dems, Republicans and Independents. All decent and good Americans.
