Weatherdude called the Romney campaign "dumbasses." Sure seemed accurate at the time. Turns out, they're actually cocksure buffoons.
Remember Mitt's video ad that YouTube removed at the request of BMG and Al Green? Whoops! Romney Campaign Violates Copyright Law
Via Politico:Let's remedy that, shall we?
BMG has said it was acting on behalf of Green, an Obama supporter who objected to the Romney campaign’s use of Obama’s riff of “Let’s Stay Together” at New York’s Apollo Theater in January.
A Romney spokeswoman said Tuesday the campaign would defend its ad as fair use. The campaign declined Wednesday to explain why they posted it on Vimeo but didn't make it available either by embedding or by linking from their own sites.
Vimeo: How do I report abuse?I'm a graphic designer. (Some of my work: Progressive Swag.) I take copyright laws seriously. I've had my work stolen repeatedly over the years; even Huffington Post stole my work, right off a client's website. I'm not greedy, I just need to make a living. Just because creative work is easy to steal doesn't make it OK.
