Finally the Justice Deportment has seen fit to look into the grievous behavior of the Anaheim Police Department and their propensity for shooting the public. As seen in this video:
The public in Anaheim is angry and will not be soothed by being ignored or oppressed.
Hopefully being investigated by the Justice Department will be enough to get the police to stop shooting everyone. Also that whatever reforms are put in place are obeyed instead of ignored like that other vowel starting police department Up North.
Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait Friday said the FBI and the United States Attorney’s Office have agreed to conduct an independent review of the facts of the incidents occurring in Anaheim on July 21, 2012. The city is also hiring an independent investigator.
Anaheim police shot Manuel Diaz on July 21. He later died.
Tait said Anaheim will provide the United States Attorney’s Office information relating to all six officer-involved shootings that have happened in the city this year.
I do fear it may be too late to impair further public protest due to the egregious nature of the police in their handling of this situation.
