Moving from VA back to CT with 4 dogs, 3 cats, a father-in-law on oxygen, and one of the cars broke down.
Something with the suspension, just started to shake like one of the wheels was about to fall off.
Found a Day's Inn that takes pooties, but had to sneak in the woozles, Angus the St.Bernard, Rufus, the Redbone coonhound, Billy the mongrel dump dog, and Penny, the beagle/Jack Russell.
Am waiting for the nearest auto repair place to open at 7am, and hope that something can be done that we can afford.
Still consider ourselves fortunate. We are all safe and together, that this didn't happen on a dangerous stretch of the road, that Lincare Respiratory was able to deliver cans of O2 to my dad in law in the middle of the night on a Sunday at a motel.
And I guess that's the important thing, these things will pass. Even when they are more than a mere inconvenience. I have 2 woozles snorging away on my bed as I type this, the cats are totally pissed off being sequestered in the bathroom, dad has his oxygen and his pain meds for his back, I just got my moon boot for my arthritic toe and stress fracture and my beloved wife is looking great (I still owe so many, so much for their wonderful words of encouragement during her surgery - I will never forget, and promise to write all back).
But we will prevail.
thanks for letting me vent.
