I know President Obama is generous (lots of charitable contributions), had student and mortgage debt until his book was published, worked several jobs in teaching and public service for low compensation, had no Swiss bank accounts, was a resident of Illinois at the time he ran for the Senate and Presidency, that he never earned money as a registered lobbyist, and that his personal wealth was solidly middle class for all but one year prior to running for the President (again, the last year, and again, because of his best-selling book). I know his wife didn't take a $70,000 dancing horse deduction, I know he paid taxes at a healthy rate every year he filed, I know he didn't get "deferred" compensation for a job he hadn't had for ten years, I know he didn't "negotiate" a "retroactive retirement", I know he didn't try to claim residencies in two states and a homestead tax deduction in one state while he was trying to establish residency to run for office in another state.
HOW do I know these things?
BECAUSE I'VE LOOKED AT HIS TAX RETURNS. Follow the link if you want to look at them, too.
What is President Obama hiding in his tax returns? See the flip for the answer.
Nothing.
