As a fan of the Men in Black series, I have been reminded lately of their over-riding concern: people of earth must never know that aliens exist. In fact, they constantly use their flashy thingy (as Will Smith calls it) to erase the memory of anyone who has had an encounter. I put forth the premise that the super rich in this country are like the Men in Black; we are not to realize they walk among us. Yes, Mittens is an alien.

Mittnen's Über rich alien buddies must be livid. They have been able to fly under our radar for years, using various flashy thingy things (not Etch a Sketches as previously reported) to distract us from the fact that they contribute little but take much. In short; they are alien beings to the vast majority of us.

I am sure they tried to convince him not to run, but were unsuccessful. Perhaps they should have used the flashy thingy on him. At any rate, because he refused to release his tax returns, he has exposed the both Rich in Black (better known as tax experts, hedge fund managers, & bankers) & the very wealthy aliens to the general populace. His odd demeanor & lack of empathy in public have people questioning if he is human. Even worse, suddenly, regular people are aware of "others" among us that most likely pay no federal taxes & are "different". Panicked, these "aliens" are flying around in their souped up cars, private jets, & yachts trying to convince us to look at the "flashy thingy", while making contingency plans to move their "ass"ets somewhere else!

It will be interesting to see how this sequel plays out. After all, none of the other films dealt with the failure of the memory eraser & the consequences for planet Earth. Just in case they fix it before November, remember to always carry sunglasses & never look straight at a pen like object held by a guy in a suit.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
