I know that you that you are very upset to have Mitt Romney as the Republican presidential candidate, and that it makes you say very nasty things without thinking. I agree with you, that Mitt isn't a great candidate and I hope you were right when you said that if the party picked Mitt Romney instead of Chris Christie that the Republicans would lose, because I think that the Republicans plans for the country are very bad. However, I beg to differ with your assessment of President Obama's base. Yesterday you told Sean Hannity,
“I think it’s probably a good sign that Obama is so desperate just to get the base Democratic voter — stupid single women — to vote for him,”
I believe that
smart, single women who care about their rights are most likely part of the president's base. They are women who vote for the party that
protects their right to determine when and if they will have a family and how large it will be. They are women who vote for the party that
supports the idea of equal pay for equal work. They are women who vote for a party that protects their right to make decisions about their own lives and supports their ability to get an education, health care and a fair paying job. They are women who do not want to be second class citizens.
They are also women who can tell the difference between a person who understands and supports their needs from a person without empathy or conscience who lies so much that he doesn't remember what he said last.
I am a smart woman who will go to the polls and vote for President Obama in November and I hope that their are enough of us smart women to help ensure his victory.
