I paid for this new URL -- www.RomneyLyin.com -- in the hours after it was confirmed that Paul Ryan would be Romney's choice for Vice-Presidential nominee. Looking at the website as it stands, though, I have to admit that it pretty much sucks. Click and take a look.
Hell, I didn't put that stuff there! A lot of it is even pro-Romney! That's horrible! Clearly, I have not been able to maximize the value of the RomneyLyin website over the past 36 hours or so -- basically for lack of trying -- so I may just have to admit defeat and pass it on to someone who can do a better job of it.
Is that person you?
I'm willing to send this website to someone who can give it a good home for the good price of what I paid for it -- including a few bucks for hassle, we can call that $20. (It could even be less than that if it's going to a great home.) I'm hoping that whoever takes it will be able to make use of both the "lying" and "Ryan" resonances of the title -- THIS NAME WAS EXTENSIVELY FOCUS-GROUPED, PEOPLE, ALTHOUGH EXCLUSIVELY BY ME, AND THAT WAS AT ABOUT 2 A.M., SO JUDGE IT ACCORDINGLY -- and do something fun with it.
Romney a liar? Ryan a liar? No, come to think of it, I don't see any potential there. But maybe one (or more) of you will. I'll be happy to transfer it into your name. It could even be a DKos group project!
(One warning, though -- the RomneyLyin site is irremediably homophonic.)
Let me know -- post your comments and offers here! It will only go to someone who has a demonstrated record of goodness, so if you're one of those "ends in numbers" spammer accounts we've been seeing, don't even bother trying, as if you would. I look forward to working with you on this, or to seeing you work on it, whichever!
(P.S. And if you can also improve on my other website -- the one for my actual campaign -- that would be great! That can be a separate matter, though, and is potentially open to anyone whether or not they want the RomneyLyin site.)
