Ryan took no questions regarding Medicare and would not address the drought but he did accuse Obama of making welfare easier to obtain.
His comment to reporters trying to put questions to him:
"We'll have plenty of time to play Stump the VP later on, you guys"
Well Mr. Wannabe VP, it's GAME ON and your time started yesterday.
Two videos of Ryan speaking at Iowa State Fair:
Ryan:
“You know what? It’s funny. It’s funny because Iowans and Wisconsinites, we like to be respectful of one another and peaceful with one another and listen to one another. "These ladies must not be from Iowa and Wisconsin."
A heckler thoughout the speech:
“Stop the war on the middle class”
One protestor reportedly suffered a minor cut, apparently from a Romney campaign sign and Politico reported that Romney staff accused the hecklers of getting violent saying:
“She just punched one of our volunteers,”
All this on day one, No wonder Florida isn't on his immediate 'places to campaign'. Too bad for them but neither Willard or his sidekick have the skills required to deal with the hecklers like The President does. Don't be too surprised if a lot of the rebel-rousing is not coming from their own side. After all the morans doesn't want anyone to touch their gubmint benefits
And just for fun Matt Taibbi's great observation about Paul Ryan:
Paul Ryan, the Republican Party’s latest entrant in the seemingly endless series of young, prickish, over-coiffed, anal-retentive deficit Robespierres they’ve sent to the political center stage in the last decade or so, has come out with his new budget plan. All of these smug little jerks look alike to me – from Ralph Reed to Eric Cantor to Jeb Hensarling to Rand Paul and now to Ryan, they all look like overgrown kids who got nipple-twisted in the halls in high school, worked as Applebee’s shift managers in college, and are now taking revenge on the world as grownups by defunding hospice care and student loans and Sesame Street. They all look like they sleep with their ties on, and keep their feet in dress socks when doing their bi-monthly duty with their wives.
Bolding is mine
Annette found these videos that were made prior to the VP selection spot. Ryan is just as vain and pompous as Willard. Neither of them have any personality, sense of humour or sense of shame:
