A security guard was mugged and a flower garden vandalized in this usually dull and peaceful small Connecticut town
There have been a series of similar attacks in recent days. "We believe that all of these crimes are being perpetrated by the same..er..perpetrator," said an obviously upset Ricky Noodnik, Kayville Chief of Police.
"We are asking the public to be on the lookout for a black and white female, last scene leaving the area on four short legs." The Chief urged that caution be used when approaching the suspect, who is well known to authorities. The Chief handed out copies of a recent photograph of the alleged perpetrator of these perpetrations.
The crime scene shocked this reporter who thought he had seen everything. Well, no - not everything. I haven't seen the World of Warcraft Lego set yet. My hand shook as I held the camera.
"This creature must be apprehended," the Chief said.
"Is there a reward?" someone in the third row asked.
The Chief looked scornfully at the questioner. "Justice is its own reward," he said solemnly, and strode, ramrod straight from the room.
