Welcome to the Tuesday Coffee Hour here on Street Prophets. This is an open thread where we can hang out and talk about what’s going on in our worlds. In many of the world’s spiritual and religious traditions, water plays an important role.
In some Native American traditions, such as that of the Anishinabe (Ojibwa, Chippewa, Pottawatomi), the spiritual powers of water comes from its association with humility. When flowing water reaches an obstacle, it simply flows around, under, or over it. I’m often fascinated by the many spiritual lessons that I learn from watching and being around flowing water. What follows are simply some photographs of flowing water taken on my recent sojourn to Ireland.
Okay, now it’s your turn. Feel free to share your feelings about water, or anything else. This is an open thread.
