Several of them found it tasteless and lacking in humor, and they made the decision -- for you -- that you should not be allowed to read it. They demanded I remove it, so -- as I have respect for the room in which I have chosen to perform -- it's gone.
However, if I may...
I am unable to close my account, and that's fine. I may wish to comment on a thing or two from time to time. But no more diaries.
Ye Gods! Yesterday I got an HR for suggesting that since every fucking aspect of Obama's religion had to be scrutinized by the RW, then we of the left have just as much right to publicly analyze and criticize the wacky crap Mitt Romney believes in.
But the room knows what it wants.
I will say this. I would never... NEVER... ask one of you to delete something you wrote. You wrote it for a reason. If I don't like it, well... that's my right. But demanding... or even asking someone to delete something that he or she took time and effort to write believing someone in the community might enjoy reading it? That's just wrong.
I have neither the time nor energy to debate every sardonic piece of satire I write to determine for the community whether it was "nice". "Nice" is not going to win the election.
But, the room is never wrong. And I bow to the room.
You may still comment, you may still answer the poll.
And frankly? Maybe this means there's something wrong with ME?
I find the idea of a main sewer pipe being clogged by the body of Rush Limbaugh HILARIOUS!
I guess I'm a bad person.
Pax Vobiscum.
