There's an anti-Obama "documentary" showing in parts of the country right now. It's based on Dinesh D'Souza's book The roots of Obama's rage. It will make a small splash due to advanced tickets purchases by Obama haters and then quickly disappear. But the trailer is quite a racist piece of work.
Take a look below if you dare.
Here's the trailer:
I'd like to focus attention on two segments in particular. First, watch the scenes from 0:35 to 0:55. Almost every person is black or involved in Arab uprising protest/riots. Back and forth. Dangerous scary dark-skinned people who represent chaos, decline and sadness. Of particular note is the quick flash from 0:51 to 0:53 of an angry black family fighting over a game. Actors? Where'd they get that? But that 1.5 seconds tells you all you need to know about the film.
The second section to note is the alternate "happy" future which we might get if Obama loses. It runs from 1:00 to 1:11. Pay particular attention to the image at 1:08. A crowd of white people. The first such group in the video. Unlike the dangerous scary fighting unhappy dark people, these people are smiling. In the center are boy scouts holding an American flag. Get it?
Subtle huh?
