I have a little free time before I go to bed so I thought I'd post a few photographs.
I apologize for the shortness of these posts but please remember that I am on the move and quite tired. When I have time I will write more in more detail.
These are links to my earlier posts on this:

This is the Euphrates a few kilometers north of the Turkish-Syrian border.

This is one of the new camps being built in Turkey for Syrian refugees. It is on the west bank of the Euphrates a few kilometers north of the Turkish-Syrian border.

This is Jarabulus, Syria, a town on the west bank of the Euphrates just south of the Turkish-Syrian border. I took this photograph from Karkamis which is the Turkish town on the west bank of the Euphrates just north of the Turkish-Syrian border.
Jarabulus is under FSA control and I was told that nothing happens there. But Karkamis was like a ghost town. It seems that the economy of the town has died since the cross-border traffic which the town relied on has dropped to essentially nothing.

This is a picture of the border fence in Karkamis looking south towards Jarabulus. The razor wire has been added recently.
