Despite Rasmussen and SurveyUSA's bull shit polls, PPP shows that Dean Heller only has a modest lead over Shelley Berkley.  Heller as 47% while Berkley has 45%.

With this new poll that came out yesterday, TPM now has Heller ahead by 1.4 points.  It was originally 1.8.

Now Heller is seen as the more ethical one of the two candidates because of the latest ethics case against Berkley but 43% view Berkley as ethical compared to 39% who view her as unethical.  But PPP stated a while back that Berkley and Bill Nelson are the two Democrats who will need to align themselves with Obama the most.  Plus previous PPP polls showed Berkley way ahead with Latino and black voters.  Again, it comes down to Obama and Democrats nationalizing their races and emphasizing the importance of having a Democratic majority.  PPP shows that Democrats lead the generic legislative ballot, 45-41.  I have always suspected that Harry Reid will retire in 2016 and this poll is really making me believe that because he's back to being unpopular in his home state.  I believe that Reid doesn't want Heller to be the Senior Senator from Nevada because Reid and Berkley care greatly about preventing the Yucca Mountain area from being turned into a nuclear waste dump.  Reid's been very ballsy and a great Democrat lately, calling out Romney on taxes.  Lets win this seat and show Harry some gratitude by helping Berkley become his new colleague and future Senior Senator from Nevada.  Donate to her page:

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
