Convention mania, Ron Paul insurrectionists, legitimate rape, super PAC spin … snap out of it!
We forgot that these campaigns are not going to change anything. In fact, the projected numbers of most races now show that the gridlock in Congress will get worse. Nothing will pass, the Supreme Court is terrible, and no President will have an effect on anything other than foreign policy and executive programs.
These campaigns are nothing but a shiny object that distracts us from the historically unparalleled police state in the U.S or the system that fostered the collapse in 2005 and 2008. This system provides no hope of solving the problems we face in the near future. The only real difference we all notice is the TSA in our pants, rapidly approaching woes of the crumbling Euro, and management of our land, air, and water to the point of greatly endangering citizens from a poisoned water supply from fracking, acid rain, and one nuclear plant disaster after another. Is this austerity or Idiocracy?
We have paid in to the system that has created an All-American, super charged version of the KGB that spies on us on Facebook, listens to our phone conversations, watches us by domestic drones, and more. We lost our right to due process, right to privacy, right to peacefully assemble, right to speak, right to vote, etc.
Our nation's wealth is also defined by our resources. We have been plundered and fleeced. The lock box on Social Security was never installed. Congress raided the cookie jar. No problem, the Chinese will cover it. They always help us out. We are too big to fail right?
We have a coin operated government which has made the price of speech to high to bear. An amendment to restore the voice of flesh and blood citizens in our government must be passed immediately. Our Federal Reserve and currency control demands attention and debate. Are we ready for a commodity based currency again?
Expect everyone's taxes to go up and representation disappear. Taxation without representation, who knew history would repeat? Our forefathers knew. We might think of these men as too simple to help with our problems today. They gave us a gift, Article V of the Constitution reads:
“The Congress, … , on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments”
These men knew the horror and cost of war and revolution. They knew the power and goals of the wealthy and our forefathers recognized the value of both equality and liberty. They knew this time would come again. We cannot avoid this convention. There are too many problems to solve and we have no other hope.
We are an orderly society and we can convene to solve the problems our Congress won't. It is legal, Constitutional, and will get the job done. Not one shot needs to be fired, not a single rock thrown.
The best part is the two-thirds threshold to call the convention has been met and it is waiting for us. Congress just refuses to count the applications. If they did, they would have to call it. There have been application from all of the states. It only takes 34. 50>34
The applications from the state legislatures are all listed here, scanned copies from the Congressional Record itself:

The federal government broke the contract with the people and states. I think this is important. There are many who wish to propose amendments to fix these problems. Maybe the mainstream media will also find this important.
Back to the election. What did you think of Ann Romney's dress?
