If you ever wondered what it's like to be told off by the world's richest woman, watch the video below. It's an eye opener.
Now we know that the so-called "good attitude" is printed on the doormats of the super rich and that's what they wipe their feet on, your compliant good attitude. The rich and famous the world over are all the same. They have horrible manners. They're terrible people and they don't care if you know it. If you don't believe that watch any of the reality TV shows of any of the rich and famous celebrities from any where in the world. For the most part these people got their money the hard way. Yes you guessed it they inherited it. Am I kidding, no actually I'm not.
LA Times: World's richest woman says poor should have less fun, work harder
Just in case you were beginning to think rich people were deeply misunderstood and that they feel the pain of those who are less fortunate, here's the world's wealthiest woman, Australian mining tycoon Gina Rinehart, with some helpful advice.
"If you're jealous of those with more money, don't just sit there and complain," she said in a magazine piece. "Do something to make more money yourself -- spend less time drinking or smoking and socialising, and more time working."
It comes with the territory of being an object of well, shall we say it
worship. Imagine everything you say is great. Everything you say is right and every joke you tell is funny. Everyone smiles at you all day every day. It doesn't matter where you go and no matter how badly you behave you will always be treated well, because billionaires are Gods. And we want to bow and scrape to them and kiss their ring and pray. If we hope and hold our breath hard enough and keep clicking our heels, saying there is no place like home, that we won't be in Kansas anymore.
We'll be in the land of billionaire Oz. So it is that our billionaires behaves as if they are from the land of Oz, as they after all have the Midas touch living in the billionaire's Emerald City (where there is no poverty or crime) and the genius having been endowed by that magical combination of the lucky sperm meets the lucky egg! Then born into the billionaire land of Oz where there are no consequences for anything one ever says nor does from cradle to grave.
It's impossible to flunk school if you're a billionaire. It is impossible to go to prison if you're a billionaire and most important of all it's impossible not to be loved if you're a billionaire, because if you hit the lucky sperm and the lucky egg, you never have to do anything right for as long as you live, because you can do no wrong ever in the billionaire land of Oz!
As for the other 7 billion people in the world, well about half of them have never made a phone call. About 30,000 children in the world each and every day will die from malnutrition and diseases related to malnutrition which is completely preventable. Oh yes in America we have 59 million people who don't have medical insurance; 132 million who don't have dental insurance; 45 million on food stamps and about 45 million living under the poverty line.
We have 4% of the world's population, and 25% of the world's inmate population. About a third of the homes in America are underwater. Recent college graduates live in the basements of their parent's underwater mortgage homes, where they are quietly being drowned in student loan debt. The largest cause of bankruptcy in America is medical bankruptcy. Our kids are at least 2 years behind in grade level compared to Western Europe. This is the gift that multi-millionaires and billionaires give the world, because too many of us just can't stop worshiping them long enough to change the planet!
As it stands it isn't a fairy tale at all because half the members of Congress in the Emerald City are millionaires and the millionaire's party want to elect a guy by the name of Mitt whose worth $265 million dollars. This presidential campaign will cost $2 billion dollars bought by private capital, mostly financial capital, in a society that has become completely atomized, where the public is angry and confused, with millions no longer knowing the way out.
Yes, it's millionaires and billionaires as far as the eye can see. Welcome to the land of Oz!
