This time the GOP and their gaggle of prevaricators are trying to claim the reason President Obama's speech was moved back to the Time Warner Arena from the bank of America Stadium was a lack of enthusiasm. Congressman James Clyburn(SC-6) just responded to Andrea Mitchell (Media-Clueless) lame question about; "some Republicans are saying" the reason the outdoor event was canceled was a lack of enthusiasm among the volunteers and supporters. Clyburn's response quickly rebutted that wild GOP (some Republicans are saying) by pointing out to the airhead Mitchell that there was a waiting list of 19,000 in addition to the 65,000 who were already notified they made the cut.
Jeez Louise! Give it a freaking break Mitchell. Don't believe every stupid rumor or comment the other side makes about the inner workings and decisions made by the Obama Campaign. I mean, you have been paying attention to the weather here in Charlotte haven't you? It's been a little wet and they're calling for thunderstorm tomorrow. Not rain showers, thunderstorms!
And Reince Priebus et al are stinging from the extraordinary and striking difference between their opening night and the one everyone witnessed last night. Of course they're going make shit up about the reasons the President's acceptance speech was moved indoors. They don't give a crap about the workers who would have to work in those thunderstorms setting up the stage. The Romney campaign doesn't really care about workers. Workers are fodder for the privileged from the Romney's perspective, he proved that when he was at Bain. And as to the actual attendees, well, the Romneys and Priebuses of the world look at attendees as part of the staging, just interchangeable parts.
So one more time the GOP and their addled brain media lapdogs put out these specious claims. It amazing what people who don't have a clue about the inner workings of an organization seem to know more than those who actually are part of that organization. And it's amazing what some people will believe enough to repeat obvious falsehoods, but we've seen it all before, they're desperate.
