A for Al Qaeda; Barack left no doubt:
That courage is "in" and Osama is "out"
B is for Biden; unleashed and unfurled
A man with both feet in our middle class world
C is for Clinton; the Big Dog ruled large
See what can be done when the Dems are in charge?!
D for diversity, look at that crowd!
(In Tampa nobody like that was allowed!)
E for Elizabeth (Warren) who ruled
Corporations and banks were conclusively schooled
F for First Lady, amazing Michelle
What stories Malia and Sasha will tell!
G is for Gabby, an awesome surprise
Her pledge of allegiance brought tears to our eyes
H for the hugs: what affectionate folk!
Their love is for real, not some dumb PR joke
I, independents; I hope they tuned in
We'd welcome them all to help Democrats win
J is for Julian Castro whose speech
Showed the sky is the limit for people who reach
K is for Kossacks who blogged night and day
DKos tech support folks kept us running: hooray!!
L is for landslide; let's make it come true!
Obama is ready; I know you are too!
M is for marriage, for gay and for straight
The platform was built upon love, not on hate
N, nominations, they're over and done
Now get out the vote! There's a race to be won!
O for Obama, the man of the hour
(While Romney and Ryan just whimper and cower)
P for the polls that confirm there's a "bounce"
Let's hope it can translate to one major "trounce"!
Q for the quiet, the hush in the hall
At serious moments, you'd hear a pin fall
R, Romney/Ryan, they haven't got squat
They think they have answers; we know they do not
S for the speeches: each one hit their mark
A touchdown, a homerun, hit out of the park
T for the troops Romney crassly dismissed
They're right at the top of the Democrats' list
U, undecideds: your choice is quite clear
Go forward with Dems; or vote "R" out of fear
V for the vets: with Michelle and Jill B
Both pledged to the folks who know freedom ain't free
W is for women whose wisdom and class
Gave haughty Queen Ann a swift kick in the ass
X for the marks on each ballot that's cast
That says we choose "future" (let Romney keep "past"
Y for young people who get out the vote
Today's eager voter's tomorrow's "keynote"
Z is for zzzzz, not a chance that was heard
As delegates hung on each well-chosen word
So now it's your turn: add the things I have missed
So we'll have a thorough poetical list ;-)
