Ads have been pulled in Michigan and Pennsylvania. Reports have been confirmed by the Romney campaign they are down in Ohio.
Obama is getting a bounce from the DNC.
So, what is the game plan? Well, since the DNC ended Romney has insulted the troops and pulled a Palin.
At this point all I can think is one thing: MELTDOWN! No one in the campaign should have said anything about Ohio other that generic boilerplate "We are in striking distance" crap. No, they deflate the Republicans even more after Bill Clinton opened up the biggest can of whoop-ass I've seen in a long time.
So all they have left is Money. And lots of it, but I've been saying this for a few weeks. Romney = New Coke.
Way back in 1985, the folks at Coca-Cola decided to revamp Coke with a new formula, it was called New Coke. It was a disaster. It was a bad product from a major company with tons of money and marketing behind it. It bombed. And people liked the "Coke" brand. People don't like the GOP brand.
So all the money the Romney campaign has at its disposal will not be able to do what even Coke could not do: Make the American People like a product they don't.
Good luck with that! (Not really.)
