I live and vote in California but Pennsylvania is still my home. I'm a Pittsburgh born and raised with a Philadelphia college education. The last election PA I voted in was the 2008 Democratic Primary. I wish I could've voted for Joe Sestak and Dan Onarato back in 2010 but we had a very important governor's race here in CA at the time and Prop 19 was on the ballot so my vote was needed here. At least my vote helped secure Jerry Brown and Barbara Boxer's victories but I'm still shaking my head about Prop 19 failing but that's a whole new conversation. Now ever since the 2010 election, I was worried that Senator Bob Casey Jr. would be very vulnerable this election season but luckily that's not the case and it looks like Obama is poised to win the Keystone State but I will continue to fight back against Tom Corbett, Dominic Pileggi, Mike Turzai and the rest of the state GOP legislator from disenfranchising voters and trying to rig the electoral college. I read something on TPM today. I'm not the biggest fan of Jim Cramer but he is speaking out against the Voter ID laws. Here's the story:

As Cramer says, the voter ID laws would prevent his dad from voting:
“My dad, a vet, won’t be allowed to vote in Pa. because he does not drive, he is elderly, and can’t prove his citizenship,” Cramer wrote on Twitter.
Many elderly voters, including those who have voted in at least the past fifty elections, will have trouble voting under the law.
The PA Supreme Court will be holding hearings over the constitutionality of the state voter ID laws this Thursday. The voter ID laws would disenfranchise an estimated 750,000 registered voters this year. Luckily the Justice Department is stepping in to see if the law violates the Voting Rights Act. Eric Holder, I'm not your biggest fan but you better fight like a dog to prevent the Jim Crow 2.0 laws from being implemented.
3:54 PM PT: Update: PennDot has come to Cramer's father's rescue:

Here's Cramer's Tweet:
"PennDot read my Tweet and came directly to the rescue of Pop and did so in a terrific way so he can vote.. Thank you Penndot!" - @jimcramer
Now if PennDot can come to the rescues to 750,000 registered voters, that would be great!
