From HP:
After a day of turmoil in the Middle East claimed the life of U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stephens and three other staffers at a consulate in Benghazi, Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) chose to weigh in on the tragedy with a rape analogy:
"It's like the judge telling the woman who got raped, 'You asked for it because of the way you dressed.' OK? That's the same thing. 'Well America, you should be the ones to apologize, you should have known this would happen, you should have done -- what I don't know -- but it's your fault that it happened.' You know, for a member of our State Department to put out a statement like that, it had to be cleared by somebody. They don't just do that in the spur of the moment."
How long until we can get rid of this pig?
Jon Kyl, over the last four years, has proven himself to be a callous, treasonous homunculus who represents the worst of us.
His tenure has been highlighted by his plan to kill START, blocked numerous treasury appointments, blocked unemployment benefits and bank regulation, and receiving 200 million in pork AFTER he came out against earmarks, in addition to complaining in 2010 that he had to work during the holidays while millions in America were just barely holding on to their jobs and waiting for people like Kyl to pass legislation that might help them.
Oh, and he also walked out of talks over the debt ceiling and then the supercommittee meeting.
Now, he's doubling down on Romney's ill-timed verbal vomit.
He's retiring, which means all the damage he's caused to the rest of us will never be championed with his defeat at the polls. Like Ryan, McConnell, Cantor, Romney and the rest, he is the kind of person who stepped into the limo and never stepped out. He doesn't represent American not one iota.
Once he's gone, lets not give him one second on anyone's microphone again.
