I don't do political diaries. I generally don't think I'm qualified enough. Kosability is more my style and I've done some for them. But I think I have a point I haven't seen diaried about Romney and I'd like to check it out with you guys. This will be short. Please follow me after the kos squiggle.
This is, to me, the scariest thing about Romney's criticism of Obama. The people who attacked our embassies were bands of jihadists, not officials of any state government in Libya or Egypt. Or afterwards Yemen or anywhere else. They hold no political offices, I'm assuming, they were simply a band of maurading terrorists. Therefore, not only Romney was wrong in speaking out, the real evil of Romney's response was that he over-reacted to the situation at hand and acted as if some government official had a finger on a red button somewhere ready to attack the United States. The reality was quite the contrary, as evidenced by the people who protested the terrorists and the responses from the respective governments. They are on America's side. Not against us. I believe they have even already arrested some of the people.
Why I find this so scarey about Romney is that a similar situation could happen in his Presidency, he could get a three a.m. phone call and, he could overreact to the situaition and before you know it he could be pressing a button that could possibly anniahlate a bunch of people. You can't be president and have a tendency to overreact. You have to be calm, collected and thoughtful like Obama to keep us all safe. Thanks for reading.
