hear me out:
someone would immediately file in Federal district court. Regardless of the outcome of that case, one can make an argument that the Supreme Court would, like it did in both Roe v Wade and Bush v Gore, take the case on an expedited basis.
I believe that the vote in the Supreme Court would be unanimous - KS cannot do that.
The issue of whether the sitting President of the United States, sworn into office - TWICE - by the Republican Chief Justice, is eligible to BE president of the United States, is already settled. Can you imagine any of the Justices voting otherwise?
Okay, I know this is a silly posting.
But I think this action by Kobach and company could be a major blow to the credibility fo the Republican brand.
And oh by the way, as the point was just made on Hardball, Romney's failure to step up and make a statement against this potential action in Kansas, where Obama's mother was born, demonstrate absolutely clearly his lack of character, his cowardice in confronting the lunatic fringe of the Republican bank.
