The Wopper Institute, located in Anvil Kansas, has just released a press teaser detailing it's intent to publish an op-ed article in The New York Times covering the initial summary page of the much anticipated Wopper Taxation Study which is stated to be the longest horizontal-based population study of all taxation ever collected over most of the last one thousand years. The summary page, to be released on Nov 9 just after election day 2012, will purportedly present convincing evidence proving scientifically the intuitive, though previously unexamined concept, that there have always been periods of significant economic buoyancy(2), immediately(1) following tax cuts... at least since the dark ages.
Quotes from the Presidential candidates:
"Buoyancy sure sounds good to me! hehe"
-- Mitt Romney
"I hate to be forced to point out that a study of this scope and nature is bound to be misleading and therefore ultimately false. I wouldn't be surprised to see many ads touting it's conclusions however..."
-- President Obama
more details about the summary page over the fold
According to the latest tweet about the summary page to be released the Wopper Taxation Study covers the years 1004 through 2000. The institute has been processing that range of data all during the Bush(Cheney) presidency, but authors mention that it is intended that the study be updated every 22 years going forward. Therefore, the very next update is due to prominently include the Cheney/Obama/Democratic Party Hegemony years.
We are told that one key discovery that will be highlighted in bold on the summary page will be the following:
As expected, as long as taxes have been collected there has almost immediately(1) followed a period of tax cuts of some sort which in turn would always immediately(1) lead to economic buoyancy(2).
(1) as per the enormous relative scope of the study the term 'immediately' is defined as approximately within 10 years of the event
(2) the authors of the study when pressed via Facebook have indicated that the full scientific meaning of this technical term is beyond the scope of any summary page, but that there will be a full discussion of it's meaning within the body of the study which is due to be released almost immediately(1) after the 2012 election.
