MARKETWATCH is what I consider one of the two major Financial News services (the other is CNBC). They have a real tendency to GO RIGHT, especially CNBC. BUT there is today a really hard hitting article on MarketWatch on Romney-its a punch, punch, punch. See the article hereMARKET_WATCH_ARTICLE

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

that these nutters write behind anonymous handles. And they are just as fucking clueless as Romney.

Everything they write is like straight out of rethugs talking points and fox.  It's like they have never gone anywhere othre than fox or redstate.

      Ugh!!

reaction to Romney's 47% talk. I thought they might be feeling a bit down, but NO, indeed. Their take is that Americans who are getting by (or just barely getting by) despise Americans who need government assistance to survive. This speech is a plus for Romney, they say.

GOP policy seems to be targeted to the most primitive part of the brain: if The Other is bigger than you, hide. If The Other is smaller than you, destroy it and eat it.

jsugrue, thanks for linking to this great article.

  •  Visited Red State this AM to get their take on 47% (0+ / 0-)

speech--thought they might be a bit sad, but NOooo! Their take is that Americans who are getting by (or just getting by) despise Americans who are using government assistance to try to stay afloat.

I think today's GOP has a reptilian brain--if The Other is bigger than you, respect it and hide.  If The Other is weaker than you, attack it.

    They need to evolve.

Thanks for link to great article, jsugrue.

  •  So apt (0+ / 0-)
Mitt Romney is running for president of an America where hard work only counts if it leads to success. And where success is only ever measured in dollars and is never enough. An America where we pretend that the accidents of wealth, health, race, class and gender don’t confer great advantages to the lucky ones. An America that only shows weakness when it extends a hand to those who’ve stumbled along the way. An America where anyone who doesn’t have a Super PAC is a loser.
