I shit you not. The Carmona campaign posted this video link today on their Facebook page:
A new Republican poll shows Democrat Richard Carmona beating his Republican opponent Jeff Flake, in the race for the U.S. Senate. Now I am still trying to find out which Republican polling firm conducted this poll but the fact that this made the local news in Arizona is remarkable. The poll has Carmona beating Flake with 44% to Flake's 39% with 16% Undecided.
Here's the full story here:

"We don't put too much weight in any poll, but this confirms what our campaign has been saying all along," said spokesman Andy Barr. "Dr. Carmona is a unique candidate with a background that appeals to Independents, Republicans, and Democrats."
Specifically, the numbers show Carmona with 44 percent and Flake with 39. But 16 percent of those questioned said they were undecided.
Of the 620 voters questioned, 37 percent were Republican, 34 percent were Democrat, and 29 percent were independent. The poll had a margin of error of 4 points.
The authors of the poll did not want to be identified because they were not authorized to release the details. - AZFamily.com, 9/19/12
So this is great news! But we should be ready for Flake's Club Of Growth buddies to be back to pour money into this race:
Carmona has run a steady number of television ads highlighting his record as a Vietnam veteran, a doctor, a surgeon, and a Pima County Sheriff's deputy.
Flake on the other hand went up with his first major television ad of general election this week. Unlike Carmona's commercials, Flake take shots at his opponent, calling him, "Obama's man in Arizona."
Another surprising element in the race is the lack of money coming from outside spending groups.
During the primary, the powerful Republican group, Club for Growth, spent more than $1 million helping Flake.
So far the group has spent nothing on the race. The only money from outside groups came from conservative Freedomworks for America. The organization tossed in about $85,000 to help Flake. - AZFamily.com, 9/19/12

Flake is already attacking Carmona and after seeing this latest poll, I wouldn't doubt that Flake is on the phone with his Club Of Growth buddies begging them for money. Lets keep the momentum going and keep the Senate blue by electing Dr. Richard Carmona:
