As excited and as comfortable I, finally, feel now about these elections due to the recent turns of events; I can’t help but be a bit paranoid. I can’t trust the Republican Party based on their recent past three presidential elections’ activities of voter suppressions, frauds, and misinformation. Not to mention their shady over-handed shenanigans within the Republican-run-States around the country about Voter ID laws, or should I say, Voter Disenfranchisement laws for this coming elections.
However, what scares me the most is that many of us Obama and other liberal candidates’ supporters may feel too comfortable about these elections resulting in some of us (not me) overly optimist liberals to think that they may not need to vote, which would be an UTTER DISASTER for us and for the rest of the country!
Although, I can’t give Romney’s campaign credit for thinking this far deep down the lines, but they may not be stupid enough not to take advantage of such a scenario.
So here is my warning: Miss voting for your candidate or avoid the lines to the ballot box at your own peril.
Every time when I hear or read a commentator’s comments, specially a conservative commentator, about how Romney is losing or Obama is winning, a big RED flags goes up in my head, and I hope that everyone else who is supporting the Democratic tickets feel the same way, or at least, think about it, before deciding not to vote on the election day, which would be a travesty.
I rather see an American citizen eat shit and die, than to see him/her at home, at work or in a bar trying to come up with excuses for not to vote.
So go out and vote, and get the vote out.
Thanks,
Gak

May we be celebrating the 2nd inauguration of President Obama, and a stronger control of the Senate and the House.
