If you live in a swing state, the odds are pretty strong that your senator voted to deprive unemployed veterans of a chance for a job. The Veterans Job Corps bill would employed veterans in conservation, resource management and historic preservation projects on public lands, and also provide for hiring veterans as police officers and firefighters. The cost of the legislation, $1 billion over five years, is a rounding error in the scheme of dollars wasted on the Iraq War.
So everyone living in states represented by the reprobates below, send out the message, as in: "John McCain to Unemployed Vets: F.U."
