You can't make this up. In 2008, The McCain Campaign had the $150K Sarah Palin's wardrobe, this years the Romney Campaign are introducing us to the $200K bonuses (in total) to top aides who have shown weeks after weeks their incompetency.
Politico is reporting that Mitt Romney awarded bonuses to his top aides after the RNC Convention last August.
At the same time, the campaign gave out about $200,000 in bonuses to senior employees just after the Republican National Convention, which ended with the candidate not getting much of a bounce in the polls.
The beneficiaries included national political director Richard Beeson, campaign manager Matt Rhoades, general counsel Kathryn Biber, policy adviser Lanhee Chen, communications director Gail Gitcho, digital director Zach Moffatt and adviser Gabriel Schoenfeld, according to federal campaign finance reports filed Thursday. The Washington Post first reported the bonuses.
They didn't get the bounce, they are behind in the polls, their candidate makes gaffes after gaffers, yet Mitt Romney shows his leadership by giving them bonuses. Mitt Romney is really a Wall Street guy, awarding failures with big bonus.
And here the funny part :
Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul said the bonuses were related to the former Massachusetts governor’s GOP primary performance.
“These were primary win bonuses pursuant to employment agreements paid after the convention,” Saul said in an email Friday morning.
I never held a position as CEO but my common sense tells me that only good performances deserve bonuses right?
Isn't Mitt Romney supposed to be this Savvy Businessman that the mainstream media is selling us since last year?
