I was amused this morning to see that First Read had Ohio and Virginia still in the toss-up column despite very strong polling (often +5 or more) for Obama in both states.
Yeah, I know, they have to keep it a horse race.
But in fairness....
Haven't seen many Presidential polls of Arizona this cycle, and I know it's a state with its own lovely slice of Wingnuttistan...but here's a new poll that made me chuckle:
Purple Strategies Poll of Arizona: Romney 48 - Obama 45.
If a 5-7 point Obama lead in Ohio makes it a toss-up, that must mean Arizona is a toss-up too, no?
Nope. I have no idea how reliable Purple Strategies is either. But the picture of Romney and his SuperPacs rushing to throw their rapidly dwindling warchest into Arizona tickles me a little. Thought you might enjoy it too.
