There's an interesting diary that was just momentarily on the Rec list (maybe it'll be back) about how Romney didn't claim his losses on Rafalca the dancing horse on his taxes - evidently wasting about $30,000.
Unfortunately some men are insecure about their manhood and can't be honest about their personal lives because they think it makes them look weak, when in fact it's the shame that really ends up doing so.
However, the important lesson I've learned from this story is made clear after recalling the following quote from Mitt Romney:
I don't pay more than are legally due and frankly if I had paid more than are legally due I don't think I'd be qualified to become president.
So now that we know the real Mitt Romney, the question becomes how much taxpayer money would Romney throw down the toilet to prove he's more manly than he really is as president? Well, just ask the Pentagon:
the nation would spend about $400 billion more on defense in Romney’s first term than Obama currently plans in his second.
$30,000 here, $400 billion dollars there. Eventually it adds up to real money for average Americans.
Weak men like Romney often waste money on things because they're insecure about their manhood. America can't afford an insecure guy who's going to flush our hard earned money down the drain merely to prop up his drooping masculinity.
