I normally don't take Rasmussen's polling seriously but I received an email from Shelley Berkley's (D) campaign that shows her one point behind incumbent Senator Dean Heller (R). Here are the highlights:

Nevada’s U.S. Senate race is now a virtual tie.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Nevada Voters finds incumbent Republican Dean Heller with 42% support, while his challenger, Democratic Congresswoman Shelley Berkley, gets 41% support. Four percent (4%) like some other candidate in the race, and a sizable 12% are undecided.
The poll was conducted on September 18th and surveyed 500 likely voters. Now of course PPP showed the race tied as well in their most recent poll from August 28th:

The reason why I'm paying attention to this Rasmussen poll is because all their other polling has given Heller a very healthy lead. Here's their poll from July 27th:
Heller with 51% support to Berkley’s 42%.

Here's their poll from May 1st:
Likely Voters in Nevada finds Heller picking up 51% of the vote against Congresswoman Shelley Berkley who draws 40% support.

Now here's their poll from March 20th:
Likely Voters in Nevada shows Heller with 47% support to Berkley’s 40%.

So Rasmussen is now conceding that this race is a toss up. Everyone was worried that the ethics scandal was going to take Berkley down and with Nevada being a swing state, Karl Rove, The Koch Brothers, Sheldon Adelson and the GOP are pouring in money into this race. Thanks to David Nir's terrific coverage, he's highlighted that Heller is starting to crack with Berkley painting Heller as the unethical candidate in this race:

Nir uses the Las Vegas Sun's article for reference:

Heller has also been distancing himself from Romney's 47% remarks:

Nevada is split ticket race just like Montana, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Missouri, Indiana and North Dakota. Obama's chances of winning Nevada are looking really good but hopefully this will be a down ticket vote. What this particular Rasmussen poll does is confirm that both Romney and Berkley's attacks are having an effect on this race. It's important that we win this race if we are to hold onto the Senate plus Harry Reid needs a great colleague who stand up for keeping the Yucca Mountain area from being turned into a nuclear waste dumping site. Let's keep up the pressure and lets help Obama and Berkley win in Nevada:
