In a recent debate between New Hampshire Republican Rep. Frank Guinta and his challenger, former Rep. Carol Shea-Porter, Shea-Porter accurately stated that Guinta had voted for subsidies for big oil. Guinta interrupted her to insist he had never voted for oil subsidies, then on a follow-up, he specifically claimed that the Paul Ryan House Republican budget, for which he voted, does not include oil subsidies.
Guinta barefacedly, no questions about it, lied. He made a point of interrupting Shea-Porter to lie.
The Ryan budget includes $40 billion in tax breaks for big oil over 10 years. Not only that, House Democrats have
repeatedly pushed for votes to end oil subsidies, and
Guinta has voted to protect the subsidies along with the rest of the House Republicans.
Frank Guinta: big oil subsidizer and barefaced liar.
Help get New Hampshire's first district a truthful representative by giving Carol Shea-Porter $3.
