Nate Silver updated his calculations just before 8pm ET this evening, and President Obama continues to rise.
POTUS chance of victory on Nov. 6 got a healthy 2 point bump today to 79.7%! Yesterday, it was 77.7%. So Obama is very nearly a four-to-one favorite, by Nate's math.
Nate's Nowcast (Obama's chances if the election were held tomorrow) also bounded upward 0.7 percent to 96.4% versus Romney's...3.6%. Yesterday, POTUS had 95.7% odds. So yesterday, Obama was a 22-to-1 favorite in the now cast. Today, the President is a...26-to-1 favorite!

This encouraging news from one of the best pollsters statistical analysts in the business (h/t teacherken & dpinzow) should be a reason to get even more fired up and ready to go! Taking back the House becomes more and more realistic as POTUS' chances improve. So please, let's leave it all on the road!
p.s. Nate has the chance of the Senate retaining a Dem majority at 79.9%.
